Tuscan Plastics was established in June 2014 after the business previously known as Tuscan Industries was acquired by Pipe Couplings (Australia) Pty Ltd.
Tuscan Industries was registered in 1969 by Peter Gell who had previously operated as Peter Gell Toolmaking at the Redfern Site since 1954.
The machinery was relocated from Redfern to Smithfield NSW and incorporated in the Ricci family’s pipe extrusion company, Pipe Couplings Australia, which is an injection moulding and plastics extrusion business established since the early 1970’s
Over 2000 dies
The current Tooling register comprises over 2000 individual extrusion dies, some proprietory and some customer own tooling.
With this extensive range, we have been able to service any manufacturing company, requiring extrusions of any shape or material.
